Do you have the original lighting that was installed in your 1950s mid-century modern? Or maybe it's time to upgrade to LED fixtures to save on energy? Whatever the reason, HOUSE + HABIT Interiors can help you select the fixtures you want and need to enhance your space, create functional lighting levels and set the desired mood.
These projects can range from a simple one-to-one replacement with little electrical re-work and ceiling patching to a completely new lighting layout and switching plan. Larger projects will need a fully developed lighting plan with switching and an electrical permit for completion.
As a part of this service, a style assessment will be completed and lighting selections/options will be selected for your room(s) of choice. These will be presented to you through a detailed powerpoint presentation. Fixtures will be chosen based on your custom design preferences and budget, which will be sourced seperately in an Excel document along with the current pricing at time of design. This process may also include trips to lighting showrooms for an in-person experience with or without the designer. Most projects need two to three rounds of a selections to obtain a final result.
