There are two typical approaches to home styling we take depending on budgetary needs and existing items in the home.
The first approach is the money saver. It uses mostly existing items already in the home with minimal outside additions. Sometimes homes have enough accessories already spread throughout the house or in storage that can bring a room together. We then fill the holes with just a few new items or make suggestions on purchases that could be made in the future.
The second approach is just the opposite where accessories are selected specifically for the space with just a few personal items used strategically throughout the design. Typically, this approach lends to a more cohesive and updated room aesthetic, but can be on the pricier side depending on the level of design, quality of materials and amount of items needed.
It is most likely that your project will fall somewhere in between, which is ok too. We will work with you and your budget to figure out a solution.
There is absolutely no room in the home that cannot be styled. Even garages can be transformed if you really want them to be. Most households focus on the areas of entertaining, such as the living, kitchen and dining rooms with the addition of guest bathrooms. Others prioritize their haven spaces, like their bedrooms and personal baths. And then there are those few who want every room to be perfected, ready to be photographed at a moment's notice. We recommend either starting with the room with the highest traffic or the space you are wanting a specific feeling from when you are inside of it, such as a cozy den.
